“ I've had their dinner carry-out a few times, and it's been more than spectacular, but I wasn't a fan of the breakfast I had. It was an omelet with chicken shawarma. The egg was very overcooked and brown. The salad I got with it tasted a bit old, like it had been sitting in a refrigerator overnight. I was actually surprised this would be my experience based on the past. It could have been a fluke, but I probably won't try breakfast again there anytime soon. The service was very good, however. In short, I would pass on breakfast and just have lunch or dinner options in the future. Their menu is pretty extensive, so lots more to try. That, I look forward to. Also, the Beirut hummos is AMAZING! It's hummus, but elevated to a whole other level. ”
“ Don't feel like cooking, but want to eat healthy? Libanais in Lincolnwood has fast, fresh, & nutritious Mediterranean offerings. - Loved the veggie sampler with falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, tabouli, salad, & fresh pita - Lentil soup was surprisingly large portion for $3.99. Very comforting & just salty enough. - The whole Bronzino is one of the best fish in Chicago! A hearty seasoned salt, deep fried, with olive oil and roasted vegetables, make it so you want it pick every piece of that meat off the bones! - Every meal ends with a square of baklava! Attentive service but didn't feel rushed. Bustling, but cozy seating areas. Don't forget to check out their desserts. ”
“ Continue to be a big fan of Libanais. We went for an early dinner and got their branzino as our main entree which is seasoned and fried up very nicely! We got the lentil soup as well and the veggie sampler that has hummus, baba ghanoush, grape leaves. Very satisfying and filling meal for 2. If I have to knock anything, the pita bread is only ok for me. I love that they end the meal with baklava! Service is great. We went at 4:30 so actually got a parking space by the restaurant. It's very family friendly environment and atmosphere. ”
“ Love this place for their menu choices for in person, take out and delivery. I like how staff is always on and helpful. ”
“ I've driven past here one million times and never thought much of it, but I had a specific destination, and this fell smack dab in the middle of my starting and ending location so seemed like as good as any reason to stop in. It's much larger inside than I expected. Staff was extremely pleasant, very attentive and friendly. All smiles! The pastry display in the front was exceptional. It looked festive and fun, really inviting. I wanted dessert before I even sat down to eat! The menu was pretty standard with some unique flair like a shakshuka sandwich, that was a first time seeing that or a shawarma omelet. My husband had the sandwich and I went with the Tour of Lebanon because I love me a little variety of things to try. Everything was outstanding. We also had to get the hummus and baba ghanoush. I much preferred the baba, but my husband preferred the hummus, so I guess to each their own. Either way, two entrees, two appetizers and a diet coke and our bill came out to about $60 with tip, which I thought was a very fair price considering the experience. I'll be back. ”
“ First time to eat here for my birthday. We live just a few blocks away from this place and through the years, we know it's there but we have not tried it until today. I should say it didn't disappoint. And why we just paid attention to this joint before... The food was really good, especially with their garlic sauce! We ordered the family style and it was huge! Loved the food. The waiter was so accommodating and explained the food as well. That said, hopefully when the family comes back this year, we will make sure that we will be back to eat here again. ”
“ Both sides of my family love this place for a large holiday dinner gathering. It is not what you would think of for a traditional Christmas Eve Dinner. Everyone is really happy and inquisitive on the International splendidness. I will look forward to ordering from them again. ”
“ Had a great meal ! Truly authentic Lebanese cuisine. I was feeling so homesick but their knafe helped. The people are super warm and welcoming as well. ”
“ We had a reservation for 5 at 5:30 on Saturday night and had no problem being seated comfortably in the back corner. It was a perfect location for a lovely view of the full restaurant with its attractive pointed archway cut outs to the kitchen, and the traditional style lanterns hanging from the ceiling. But it was also away from other diners a little which meant my mother who was celebrating her 82nd birthday that night) could easily hear us even without earplugs! and there was space next to the table for ber collapsible rollator, and space on the bench next to me for her birthday gifts. The server was with us immediately and easily accommodated my mom's desire for room temperature water. We ordered tabouli for the table which came almost immediately, and the main entrees came faster than I'd expected too. We all liked our meals. I think the shish taouk I ordered was the biggest hit since everyone else loved the the spices used for the chicken, even my mother who doesn't like chicken normally. My niece had shawarma and inhaled half the sandwich but then also wanted half my chicken and rice. My mom had the vegetable stew which had a wonderful flavor to the base sauce with perfectly cooked cauliflower. My niece didn't eat her fries but I thought they were excellent. Very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My husband had the chicken shawarma and was pleasantly surprised that it was not greasy. For dessert, we could either order off the dessert menu or go order from the counter. We liked looking at the counter because we weren't sure exactly the names on the menu entailed. I chose some middle eastern sweets over the French pastries. I didn't like the oval shaped one which not crunchy like a Russian tea ball as I'd anticipated but instead was soft with a chewy pistachio interior almost like the consistency of the inside of a fig newton although not at all that flavor. I loved the little vanilla cookie with chocolate dipping on the edge and a few pistachios. It was crunchy and yet still somewhat moist and flavorful. My niece, unfortunately, got the lava cake asked for it to be heated but although they said they would, the center was still hard not molten. She still ate most of it but said it wasn't amazing. The server then brought us one walnut baklava each. We grew up on Greek food and were surprised to find what I think of as Greek style baklava since it was made with walnuts and honey. I loved their small size and how incredibly flaky the dough was. A good strong taste of honey but without being drenched in honey. I was really surprised by how easily they coped with our group, how easy it was for us to hear each other, and most of all how incredibly flavorful and delicious the food was without being rich or greasy. Can't wait to return! ”
“ I'd had takeout delivered from here, but had never been inside. I was excited to dine in. It's a cute spot, and the food is really good. I really liked the spinach pie. My husband and I had a few things to share, mostly from the finger foods section of the menu, and everything was prepared so well. The bakery section features a wide variety of fun items to take away. We were there on a Sunday, and there were a lot of groups there, yet food came out super fast. ”
